YOUR COMMUNITY ARTS SCHOOL FOR OVER 40 YEARS!

In 1978, Judith O'Hare and a group of local parents founded Creative Arts. They saw a need for quality arts programming in the community and decided to make a change. Creative Arts programming started in the local elementary schools, with a mission to provide opportunities for a life-long desire for creative expression.

Over the next few years, programming expanded as the number of families served grew. To accommodate the expansion of aspiring artists of all disciplines and levels, Creative Arts relocated to our current home at the First Congregational Church, creating a thriving center for community arts education.

Today, we continue our mission of providing exceptional instruction in visual and performing arts to a diverse population of students of all ages and levels. Creative Arts looks forward to another forty years of being a center for the arts in Reading and surrounding communities.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Creative Arts is guided by a board of volunteer parents and community members who are dedicated to continuing and expanding the arts in Reading.  We are always looking for volunteers!  Please contact us if you are interested in attending a meeting or becoming a board member.
