About Roald

Roald was an extraordinary musician and educator whose impact resonated far beyond the classroom. A Smithsonian-certified World Music pedagogue and Indiana University graduate, he brought decades of diverse musical expertise to Creative Arts since 1997. His mastery spanned classical, folk, Appalachian, and Zydeco genres across keyboards, strings, and wind instruments.

As a composer, performer, and instrument craftsman, Roald's creativity knew no bounds. Yet his greatest legacy lies in the countless students whose lives he transformed, instilling in each a deep appreciation for music and the confidence to explore their creative potential.
